Get involved

OTTER is community-run and zero-budget; everything below genuinely helps.

  • Give a talk in the series — or recommend a graduate student or recent PhD who should.
  • Forward the September relaunch announcement to early-career people you know.
  • Serve on the advisory board — about two short calls a year.
  • Co-host an OTTER session at a conference you’re organizing.
  • Send news for OTTER News: opportunities, open problems, community updates.
  • Share contacts in Mexico and Latin America for the Spanish-language outreach.
  • Help identify funding paths: departmental contributions, NSF conference grants, AMS programs.
